At CSGORoll, ensuring the safety and integrity of our skin trading community is a top priority. With that, we're excited to introduce our new peer-to-peer (P2P) trading system, designed to simplify, secure, and enhance flexibility in skins trading between users. This system lets users trade directly with others, giving them full control of the entire process. Here’s how it works.
Penalty System
This new system detects any suspicious activities during a P2P trade and acts on them according to a tiered system, with different levels and punishments applied depending on the severity of the action.
The tier system consists of four levels, as listed below. Users engaging in suspicious activities - such as scamming attempts, waiting for trades to expire, false reports, or other forms of exploitation during trades - will be automatically assigned to a tier. Each repeated offense will result in escalation to a higher tier.
The goal of this system is to build trust between players and CSGORoll. If you encounter any issues related to penalties, you can always reach out to us for support.
Trade Receiver Penalties:
- Tier 1 Offense: Warning, 1-minute trade cooldown penalty
- Tier 2 Offense: 15-minute trade cooldown penalty
- Tier 3 Offense: 30-minute trade cooldown penalty and 5% trade value fee
- Tier 4 Offense: 24-hour trade cooldown penalty and 15% trade value fee
Trade Sender Penalties:
- Tier 1 Offense: Warning, 1-minute trade cooldown penalty
- Tier 2 Offense: 30-minute trade cooldown penalty
- Tier 3 Offense: 2-hour trade cooldown penalty
- Tier 4 Offense: 24-hour trade cooldown penalty
These values are not final and may change at any time as we continue to refine the system to ensure fairness and reliability for all users.
Manual Dispute System
Our manual dispute system lets users trade without the WebAPI Token. Only certain skins are available for trade, making it easy to see if a trade is done manually or through the automated WebAPI Token system.
When a manual trade starts, the system will track the item’s movement from the sender's inventory. Once the item leaves the inventory, the trade status will move to a new stage, where the trade receiver can confirm receiving the item or dispute the trade if there’s an issue during the process, such as the item not being received by them.
IMPORTANT: If the user receiving the trade takes no action within a set time (10 minutes), the system will automatically assume the item was delivered and complete the trade. Therefore, it is extremely important to be actively involved and active during this process to avoid the permanent loss of coins.
To resolve disputes, users can add their WebAPI Token for a smooth resolution or contact support for manual assistance where our team will be ready to assist. Any unresolved dispute will lead to one party being penalized under the penalty system.
